Famous K-pop star Chung Ha undergoes home-quarantine and her activities are temporarily put on hold due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Chung ha will undergo a self-quarantine after two staffs who were with her in Italy tested positive of novel corona virus COVID-19.
According to the reports, Chung Ha and her staffs returned to South Korea when two of her staff members showed symptoms of COVID-19.
Chung Ha's agency MNH Entertainment already released a statement confirming the idol was tested negative of COVID-19 and reassured fans not to worry but she must undergo self-quarantine in conformity with the regulations set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of South Korea.
Fans wished Chungha good health on her Instagram.
Chung Ha used to be a member of a popular girl group I.O.I formed by CJ E&M through the 2016 reality show Produce 101 on Mnet.
After the group's disbandment, she started her solo debut in June 2017 and earned more fame with her popular songs "Snapping" and "Roller Coaster".
According to a Reuters reports, thirty-four people have died in Italy caused by COVID-19 as of Sunday. Meanwhile, 3,736 cases of COVID-19 were reported in South Korea as of Sunday.
